Our analysts don’t need to practice forgiveness as we lay ourselves bare (or not) in their offices…or stare at one another across a zoom…which used to be a room…

They are not there professionally for that, even though, we are desperately and covertly seeking forgiveness through the door of their understandings.

Medical professionals have been bringing to our attention the documental evidence that our wellness is impacted more by stress and anxiety than ever realized. They must be listening a little at least. This is what our bodies and lives have been telling us and them.

All of this trying to ‘figure thing out’, to ‘get things right’,

time after time                                      situation after situation…

we ask our trained professionals to explain ourselves to ourselves because we can’t make any sense of ourselves…none that lasts…we (and life) keep changing…keep moving…
The fact that we know that intellectually doesn’t help much…even though we know better…we seem to keep doing our patterned behaviors even ‘after’ we ‘know’ that they’re hurting ourselves and the ones we care about…

knowledge and the application create an experience…that’s the only real link between my virtual self and who shows up to act in the moment…

for example, my COVID Buddha Belly…(I’m being charitable towards my pouch by phrasing it thusly) there’s this tiny protrusion, which I know I want to change its current developmental expansion track…and the peloton track (cycle?).

There’s the know and the tool………the sofa or the do.

Buddha belly is betting on itself.
