Isn’t it funny,

That when life presents us with something new . . . a situation, a person, another choice/chance . . .

. . . we sometimes instantly decide we don’t like it . . . or don’t like the way things might be headed . . .

. . . and we pull back from the newness into the familiar . . . so quickly that we hardly took notice . . .

. . . freshly stale . . .

And here’s what’s even funnier . . .

. . . because we didn’t expect anything ‘new’ to pop up . . . and then something new did . . . our mind will berate itself and even yell at itself that it should have seen that new thing coming . . . ??!!

. . . but wait, it gets funnier still . . .

Because . . . hello . . .

. . . if we see everything that’s coming . . .

. . . nothing will ever be new . . .

and then we whine about how boring life is.
