Loving

So . . . what do you love?

not who

                                        what do you love . . .

                 About Life?

                                                                           About being alive?

These are not daydream, abstract questions. Right this moment________, please take a few more moments and physically scan 360 degrees all around you slowly. You’re seeking while looking. Notice something you like, something that made your heart flick a smile or light a pleasant memory or association.

Now, right now, walk over to it

Touch it and tell it whatever it was you felt when you looked at it. Out loud (but whispered if you’re not alone).

You will be getting in touch

                       with your feelings

                             more closely as you do.

P.S. You’d be surprised at how many of us haven’t been shown a path towards our true feelings. Mostly we’ve been handed a lot of shoulds about our feelings. (Well intended and not especially helpful.)
