This posting is an ‘if the shoe fits, go ahead and put it on’ acknowledgment. It is not intended for everyone, but those it is intended for may/may not realize that.

it may be difficult to imagine someone compassionately offering you permission, but that’s what I’m doing:    go ahead . . .         cancel me now      it’s ok

you have every freedom afforded every soul . . . every human being . . . the freedom to make a choice . . .

so,

if you’re scouring every line . . . every word . . . every vaguery . . . every example . . .

and searching for an offense that could be taken . . . also ask if you feel that offense was intended . . .

and still I say:    cancel me now.

You’re already approaching the rest of your life righteously insisting on your righteousness, all the while wailing for mercy for your own indiscretions from everyone else. It’s where you’ve presently chosen to be.

Does that approach, though, feel vaguely familiar? Like maybe you’ve heard something about it? Hasn’t this type of behavior been pointed out to us before as a real problem maker between human beings?

modernized version of the cinder vs the stake in the eye:

. . . you’re all busy noticing the wrinkle crease on my brow while I’m holding up a mirror trying to get you to see the terror on your face . . .

I’m just reminding us,

Because so many claim to be deeply disconnected and lost,

that this ‘picking’ is some of what we’re doing which is losing our connections.
