Long before the actual light of dawn

there is a dimmer switch that the rotation of the orbs involved

introduce the light gradually

                       gently

almost as a caress across my eyelids

                                            slumbering…

It was, that time of morning—not quite day—once referred to as,

the quickening.

Well, we’ve not gone faster than this before, and we seem to not really able to get much quicker

than now.

It does appear that unless and/or until we choose to believe in our self

and one another—equally—

and each of us opens our eyes to trying once again and intentionality—genuinely and intentionally by free will, choose—simply even try to choose—

try to care openly for no reason at all…other than for goodness’s sake.

It’ll make a difference to you and for all of us.

Oh, and I wrote this just now, so good morning on the east coast of the US, and good now to wherever your time is.

I believe in us. I believe in you. For no reason at all. I don’t need one.
