If it’s true that there’s nothing new under the sun, then I have no doubt that everything I type is actually plagiarizing (omg! In plain view, no less, no more).

Plagiarizing, defined here to mean specifically: in the sense that it would be arrogant of me (you?) to even conceive, that as I attempt to express myself honestly and candidly with these words, that I am doing anything more—other—and only regurgitating—repeating—copying—mimicking—(??!!) feelings/ideas/realizations had before by some other person, place, and time—and that I (you?) have the ability to tap, some sense of a prior source—a scent trail—an echo whisper—a butterfly eyelid kiss—that I have touched into AND that has touched into me—personally—in my present-day moments. Talk about the road less traveled—oh, please—yet step out of line—and there’s the rub—who’s line are you towing and where are you really going as you grit your teeth and hunker down?

Goodness and decency want to know. America wants to know.

Honestly, it is a weird, sudden sense of unexpected clear connection with an energy outside of ticktocktime.

Standing up for what is clearly a better way to treat one another:

Specifically—SPEAKING and ACTING—as WE the PEOPLE

WHO BELIEVE in the Aspirational Constitution that points US towards striving in our EVERYDAY INTERACTIONS to honestly, decently, courageously choose to UNITE and join our different energies, talents, preferences, and abilities to co-create a more perfect (read: always getting better…not stricter),

Wherein EQUAL actually means EQUAL FOR ALL—and WE AGREE that WE, as AMERICANS, want to always be moving in that direction.

If you do NOT agree with that basic foundational principle, as so clearly expressed in specific language of the day, then I might suggest that you are not a real patriot nor a defender of the weak, the poor, the tired, the oppressed…

Is it possible that you’re protecting your status quo?
