if we’re seeking knowledge, we might be feeling despair . . . knowledge promises to be the pot of gold at the end of all that over-arching, painstaking research. Results. Something solid. Something dependable. Something certain. It’s never a promise it keeps. The next questions are forming even as the data from the first research efforts are being reviewed. Endless Qs chasing As.
it is undeniable that the pursuit of facts has led us to many a fictional conclusion . . .
if we’re seeking honesty, I will remind us to bring along our courage. One is practically useless without the other.
if we are seeking to grow into our goodness, we’re going to have plenty of opportunities to practice. Remember, love is a verb first, a noun later.
And
if we are seeking to grow into our capacity to recognize, appreciate and cooperate with love,
rejoice
love is here in abundance
and multiplies even as we share it
