As we rake this next shared breath together
each as best we can
each as we need it
enough for this one and each to follow –
shared globally
and, if we, can… deepen our intake – stay with it until it lets itself go…
we slow down
we would stop the pounding and panting of our misguided racing around
without force of will
without knowing exactly how
but feeling a whole lot better
about ourselves
and life
and the person next to you
as we do
