The Big Forget is a really cool trick.

We’ve depicted it for ourselves allegorically and artistically for a long time. Imaginators of science fiction and other fantasy adventures will usually have a “forgot” theme, situation, episode, or lesson included along the way. Recall or Google the film Men in Black (1 through 1,000 as it seems to be heading) for a pop-culture use of a “forget” device . . . Reader(s): I’m not going to bore you with a list of examples. That’s what the Internet is for.

. . . Forgetting . . .

It’s one of the necessary elements—fun and not so fun—involved in how we learn.

Sometimes we simply have to completely forget what we think we know

in order to make way, in order to allow for the emergence of something we do not.

This is not dangerous.

It’s glorious.

     It’s simply Love
