We refer to the truth about a moment, a situation, or whatever, as illuminating…
the cliche is that the truth “sheds light or shines a light” on what’s really going on.
Another visual is the lighting of a match, candle, or torch when surrounded by darkness,
that awful moment of “deciding” do I really want to see what’s in here with me?
I just have to tell you (spoiler alert)
when you choose to seek and choose to fumble in your darkness to light whatever is currently in vogue as a genuine source of light (which is whatever you need it to be) (always love?)…
When your light from your truth flickers and you choose to let it catch and shed some light rather than snuff it out, rather than risking letting anyone really see you…
You’ll be amazed at how many other lights will be there to greet you and not there to eat you and to share equally what each can see clearer together.
Caring and loving are not consumer products to be purchased.
They’re our spirits under development.
