Feels somewhat sinister, the title, no? (and I’m not referring to the grammaticals, for those so inclined) Consider the word as a synonym for learning or progress, much like these words, which can be utilized in the positive context: discover, recover, duckforcover, etc..

Unnaturally for some, yet grooved for me, the following question raises its hand:

“What’s a cover? Besides something my bedpartner steals?”

I don’t know for certain. I suspect it is or refers to something buried/hidden. My suspicion is not without the aid of this little ditty: “The truth will out.” Or this one: “The truth will set you free.”

Are these not true?

Have we not discovered, recovered these two facets of truth anew for ourselves?

Have we not seen that deliberate dishonesty is a trap for the liar, that gets relentlessly boa constricter tighter and tighter, so that there’s no more time, need nor possibility for falsehoods to survive…

And the squeeze of goodness, cohesively and steadily applied and supplied from all realms and directions, is causing many of those trapped, to squirm and squeal.

No one said the truth would be pretty.

It is, however, an honest place to start again.

If we want to be honest.

If our caring isn’t fleeting and fading.

Rather, sincere, mature, and committed.

You all know my choice.
