The path to all my growth is into the canyons carved by my repeatedly going over the same ground. It is mostly a virtual path upon which I’m streaming and which regularly has me going over the cliffs and waterfalls of my fears. I smile at the verge, which is the moment of stepping in, of letting go, of taking the chance to plummet into caring.

Am I having an awakening? Can I have them deliberately as well as circumstance-driven? Can a have a lifetime of such? Or am I riding an imagined theme park roller coaster?

Some of us, roller coaster or not, do seem to be enjoying the ride. Most of us, however, are screaming (internally usually—some out loud).

Those who are screaming can’t understand what the others are smiling about. The screamers are suspicious and curious. This frequently displays as flashes of anger. Those in a panic strongly suspect that the smilers are either oblivious to what’s going on,

Or they (the smilers) are on to something.

That’s the natural human curiosity that emerges, even in the yelling, that actually spurs our growth. Which expands our awareness, which increases our enjoyment, which expands our awarenesses even more, etc…

If that’s not loving what is, then what is?

And, if that doesn’t make you smile…wait, what??!!

Oh no!!!  You might become a smiler too after a while.

*wink wink*
