Many of us have absorbed the belief, especially after Darwin (of all people, no offense, kind sir)
…anyway, the belief that our various streams of energies are best thought of and dealt with as if they were rivals…competing for our attention’s attention…(and we wonder to this day who could have thought up that thought?)
…anyways, the Darwinian model was misappropriated and we internalized the belief that “survival of the fittest” was a universal truth…
Well, no surprises here, we’ve been tearing ourselves apart, (and do I really have to point out?) and each other apart, while we are attempting to apply that model or version of humanity…to all of our humanity…
…more and more, at least, that’s what it feels like to me,
we’re accepting that this model is not with how we really want to act towards ourself when engaging our own limitations (read: growing…pushing against a previously unmovable barrier) and each other’s own limits. We share the same dilemma. If we’re not stupid, simply learning and would like to be treated kindly, oh by the way, as (not if) we make our mistakes, then the same awareness extends outwards to all. We’re all flat up against stuff we don’t know and feel more than we can explain or make sense out of…especially if we’re applying Darwinisms to our behaviors…
and, if
we’re still being candid,…can we admit that we’re all suffering a bit…a lot?
We have survivals fatigue…we’re exhausted trying to simply survive what we know we can’t…namely, life…surviving life is what is means to be alive…and our spirit’s survive death…we know this without being able to explain this…
It’s a bit confusing and can feel unsettling…that’s life…in a nutshell…
Living with the sole purpose to survive is and cannot be the purpose of our life…
Surely, (no pun intended) no one really feels that anymore…
or, even if they do still feel it,
they really wished they didn’t have to believe it…
that’s my sense, anyway…
so, take note, we’re all wishing they didn’t believe that anymore
together.
