As we continue to delve more fully and develop more openly into our own experienced, yet, mostly unexamined energies of our own true humanity (and not merely regurgitating what we’ve been taught to believe), something curious emerges:
Our genuine gut impulse to give a darn…
about someone or something other than ourselves (which would include all of the hostages and toys we’ve collected along our path towards ‘success’)…
well,
that darn old gut impulse,
which goes against everything we should ‘know better’ than to
say or do or try to help out someone or do some small thing(s)
to contribute to the bettering and not the worsening
somehow
just for now…maybe just once…not a lifetime of goody-goody-ness…yet…
well, when we delve into the bottom line of it all, the rubbery road of smoking tires and eager spirits, we do give a darn.
A big, fat darn. Actually.
An, ‘oh heck yeah, I do’ kind of darn…not a wishy-washy, feint hearted maybe…
May I suggest that, as we choose to act on this impulse, to ‘live into it’ and learn with and from one another how we can do this better…for ourselves and one another, equally and at the same time…we are at an inflection point…
This probably means that there won’t be much “business as usual” again for the time being. It’s OK, though. Spoiler alert (or trigger alert):
Love wins. We already know that.
